Who actually delivers
Lead builders ranked by systems on the ground

|---|
Delivered = operational systems; building = under construction or early stage. China's firms (CCECC, CHEC, China Railway) lead sub-Saharan delivery; French firms (Alstom, Bouygues, Colas) lead the Francophone and North-African builds. "Mixed" covers systems with no single dominant lead builder.
🚇 The line ahead
metro.ad is just the first stop.
The destination is bigger: the everyday app for how Africa moves — and, in time, how it pays. The way Yandex Go became part of daily life in Russia and WeChat in China, but built from the ground up for the continent. We start with the rails, and ride the line all the way. No timetable — just the stops on the way.
